A family-run business with a history:
Haus Waldrast has been family-owned for several generations.
Katarina and Josef Maier built the house in 1948. Initially, it served as the base for a haulage business. From 1975, the building was converted into a guesthouse offering breakfast, and by 1977 it had been extended to include additional guest rooms.
From 1984 to 2015, Irmgard and Josef Maier ran the guesthouse. In 2015, Kerstin and Josef Maier Jr. took over the family business. As part of this, the former guest rooms were renovated and converted into holiday flats.
Today,
the Maier family welcomes their guests in four holiday flats,
thus continuing the history of the Haus Waldrast in Ramsau.
