The holiday house PETRINO is located directly at the sea, just outside the small village Keratokampos surrounded by gardens, olive groves and vineyards.
From the house you have a spectacular view across the southern coast of Crete and the Lybian Sea.
As the name suggests, PETRINO is a stone house built in regional style on a large enclosed garden and nature property.
The roofed, circumferential terrace is spacious and is the centerpiece of this beautiful location.
With its massively constructed arcade arches it is a perfect venue to linger and relax.
There is a unique view across the hilly landscape of southern Crete and the blue sea.
On the wind-sheltered and sight-protected terrace you can enjoy unforgettable sunsets every night.
The furnishings in rustic country-style are in perfect harmony with the stone walls of the terrace and the house.
The open kitchen is connected to the large living/dining room with direct access to the circumferential terrace with various seating possibilities.
Just across the hall are the bedrooms and the bath.
A small, private path leads to the quiet gravel beach just below the house (distance approx. 60 m).
In the basement of the house are two storage rooms used by the landlord.
What you can expect here is a quiet and yet typical rural Greek surrounding for a wonderful holiday experience.
The charming landscape, secluded idyll away from touristic hot spots, a crystal clear sea and the quiet beach directly in front of your doorstep complete the beautful setting.
The location is ideal for a relaxing holiday with family or friends and a visit to the ancient sites of Crete.
The village Kastri-Keratokampos with some tavernas and grocery shops is within walking distance.
In case you want to experience some villages that have remained original Cretan in structure and traditions, you should visit the picturesque villages in close vicinity, for example Ano Viannos.

Bei unserem fünften Urlaub hier - in diesem wunderschönen Haus - durften wir uns schon als Stammgäste fühlen. Alles, was uns ans Herz gewachsen ist, war wieder da: Unsere lieben Gastgeber, Helena und Giannis, das weite Meer, das pure Freizeitvergnügen! Für uns gilt: wenn Kreta, dann Petrino!

Tolle Unterkunft, etwas außerhalb des Ortes gelegen und deswegen schön ruhig.
Die Ortsmitte ist jedoch zu Fuß gut zu erreichen.
Schöne Aussicht auf der Terrasse.
Zu empfehlen.

Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft - Blick über die Bucht und nur wenige Schritte bis zum Meer. Wir hatten auch Anfang November noch wunderschönes warmes Wetter und konnten jeden Tag an einem nahezu menschenleeren Strand baden. Die große Veranda war unser Hauptaufenthaltsort.
