Welcome to Haus Saxen, a lovingly modernised historic farmhouse in the picturesque centre of Ramsau near Berchtesgaden. This traditional property combines the charm of a centuries-old building with contemporary comfort, offering the ideal accommodation for a relaxing holiday in the Berchtesgaden Alps.
The holiday flat has been renovated to a high standard and impresses with a successful blend of modern features and cosy Alpine charm. The covered balcony with its Hollywood swing is particularly inviting for relaxation. From here, you can enjoy views of the Ramsauer Ache, the historic wooden bridge and the surrounding mountains.
Its central location makes the house the perfect base for hikes, cycle rides and excursions into Berchtesgaden National Park. Restaurants, cafés and the world-famous St Sebastian’s Parish Church are just a few minutes’ walk away.

The prices quoted are exclusive of the visitor’s tax, which amounts to 3.10 euros for adults, 1.55 euros for children and young people aged 7 to 16 inclusive, and 0.00 euros for children aged 0–6 per person per day of stay (subject to change)

Arrival Description
By car
From the A8 Munich–Salzburg motorway, take the Bad Reichenhall exit and follow the B20 towards Berchtesgaden. In Berchtesgaden, join the B305 towards Ramsau/Hintersee.
In the centre of Ramsau, turn onto the street ‘Im Tal’. Haus Saxen is located a few metres further on, on the right-hand side of the road.
Parking
Parking is available directly at the house or in the immediate vicinity (subject to availability).
By train
Travel to Berchtesgaden Hauptbahnhof station. From there, you can easily reach Ramsau by regional bus or by taxi in around 10 minutes.
By bus
The Ramsau Kirche bus stop is just a few minutes’ walk from the holiday flat and offers regular services to Berchtesgaden, Hintersee and Königssee.
