RoomWest is located in a beautiful historic canal house on the picturesque Da Costakade, right in the heart of vibrant Oud-West.
Here you'll experience the best of both worlds: lively cafés, restaurants, boutiques and local markets just around the corner, while your room overlooks a peaceful inner courtyard, ensuring a surprisingly quiet night's sleep. Whether you're visiting Amsterdam for a city break, business trip or a longer stay, this comfortable boutique room offers everything you need to relax after a day of exploring. Self check-in makes arriving easy, even late in the evening.
You'll receive your personal access codes before arrival, so there's no need to arrange a meeting time. If your room happens to be ready earlier, we're happy to offer early check-in whenever possible.
Likewise, if you have some time before your departure, you can safely leave your luggage in our secure storage area while you enjoy the city a little longer. Quiet hours: 23:00 to 7:00. Pets: Not allowed.

The nearby De Hallen, De Clercqstraat, Kinkerstraat and the famous Nine Streets offer endless opportunities for shopping, dining and enjoying Amsterdam like a local.
Most of the city's highlights—including the Museumplein, Leidseplein, Jordaan and the Canal Belt—are within walking distance or just a few minutes away by tram. If you'd like to discover Amsterdam by bike or enjoy a canal cruise, you'll find plenty of rental options nearby, and we're always happy to share our favourite local recommendations. Your private room features a comfortable double bed, an ensuite bathroom, a mini fridge, television, desk and fast Wi-Fi. It's the perfect place to unwind, work remotely or simply enjoy a peaceful stay in the city. The property consists of two private guest rooms, each with its own electronic smart lock, allowing you to check in independently at any time of the day or evening.
The room itself has complete privacy. The building is an authentic Amsterdam canal house, full of character and history.
As with many historic Dutch buildings, there is no lift and you'll reach your room via the traditional steep staircase on the third floor.
Because of the age of the building, you may occasionally hear some sounds from the common areas, but the rooms themselves are quietly situated at the rear of the property overlooking the courtyard. Travelling before check-in or leaving later after check-out? A secure luggage storage area with a personal access code is available, allowing you to explore Amsterdam without carrying your bags. Please note that the room does not have air conditioning, but a fan is provided to keep you comfortable during warmer days.
