Garth Celyn sits in the harbour town of Porthmadog, offering a spacious and welcoming holiday home well suited to families and groups eager to explore the coast, countryside and the nearby landscapes of Eryri National Park. Step inside and you’re greeted by a bright living and dining room, creating a sociable setting for relaxed evenings after days spent wandering sandy beaches, riding heritage railways or following scenic walking routes across North Wales. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything needed for preparing hearty breakfasts or evening meals, while a handy utility room adds a touch of extra convenience during your stay.
The home hosts four bedrooms, made up of a king-size room, a twin/double zip-link room, a single room and a children’s bunk room, offering a flexible arrangement that works well for families or mixed groups. Guests are served by a bathroom with bath and heated towel rail, a separate shower room with walk-in shower, and an additional cloakroom, ensuring there’s plenty of space for everyone to freshen up after a day of adventure. Views of the surrounding hills add a pleasing sense of place and character to this comfortable retreat.
Private parking for two cars makes arrival straightforward, while thoughtful touches such as a highchair, cot and stairgate can be arranged on request for those travelling with younger guests. With shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs all within easy reach in the town, you’ll have everything needed close at hand.
The surrounding area offers plenty to discover. The sweeping sands of Black Rock Sands lie nearby for coastal walks and sea views, while the impressive Harlech Castle stands within easy reach, offering a striking glimpse into Welsh history. The historic town of Caernarfon also sits within driving distance, known for its waterfront charm and the magnificent Caernarfon Castle. With mountain scenery, heritage attractions and beautiful coastline all close by, Garth Celyn makes a superb base for discovering the varied beauty of North Wales.

Garth Celyn consists of a kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a living/dining room with TV and WiFi. There are four bedrooms:: 1 super-king-size (zip/link, can twin on request), 1 double, 1 single & 1 Children size bunk room. , serviced by a bathroom with bath, basin, heated towel rail and WC, a shower room with walk‑in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, and a cloakroom with basin and WC. Outside, there are small front and rear non-enclosed gardens lawns, and private parking for two cars. One well‑behaved pet welcome, but sorry, no smoking. A shop is 0.3 miles away and a pub 0.1 mile. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Note: this property has a Good Housekeeping Bond of 450GBP. Garden not 100% enclosed.
