Starting point: Wimbach Bridge – Nature & mountain adventures in the Wimbach Valley
The Wimbach Bridge in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden is a central and popular starting point for hikes and nature experiences in the Berchtesgaden National Park. From here, you can access one of the most impressive valleys in the Alps – the Wimbach Valley with its world-famous Wimbachgries.
Central location & easy access
The Wimbach Bridge is just a few minutes’ drive or walk from the centre of Ramsau and is also easily accessible by bus ( Wimbachbrücke stop, line 846 from Berchtesgaden railway station). Parking is available right next to the building.

The mentioned prices are plus spa tax of 3,10 Euro for adults, 1,55 Euro for children/youth from 7 to 16 years of age and 0,00 Euro for children from 0 to 6 years of age per person and day of stay (subject to change).
Arrival Description
Take the A8 Munich–Salzburg to the Siegsdorf/Traunstein exit, then continue on the B306 towards Berchtesgaden as far as Unterjettenberg.
Then take the B305 via Wachterl to Ramsau.
Continue towards Berchtesgaden as far as Wimbachbrücke.
Turn right after the National Park Information Centre – the house is at the end of the car park.
Coming from Berchtesgaden, take the B305 towards Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden.
Follow the road to the Wimbach Bridge and turn left onto the bridge.
On the right-hand side is the Berchtesgaden National Park information centre.
Just past this information centre, turn right into the car park.
The house is at the end of the car park.

Welcoming host. Great location. It’s right next to the hiking route. We really enjoy our time here and would love to visit again.
Well equipped room, clean, and seems renewed. Like the wooden style interior. Quite in the evening. Water pressure good.

Klein, aber fein und gut ausgestattet!
Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und gibt viele nützliche Tipps, was sehr wichtig ist!

Die Wohnung war sauber, ruhig, komfortabel und gemütlich, mit einem herrlichen Ausblick. Die Kissen waren bequem.
Die Gastgeberin war freundlich.
Das WLAN war nicht stabil, aber wir haben es nicht besonders benötigt.
Ein bisschen Kaffee für die Kaffeemaschine wäre schön gewesen.
Für Paare wäre eine größere Bettdecke statt zwei kleinerer angenehmer.
