This fully renovated apartment is settled in Madragoa, a popular and one of the oldest neighborhoods of Lisbon. Next to the Tagus river, it has always been a meeting point of different races and cultures, from the slaves who cultivated the fields to the fishermen who worked in the river. Today, still echoes in the memory of the elders the cry of the "varinas" selling fish.
This apartment is very close to the river, Basilica of Estrela, Lisbon s most famous bars and restaurants at Cais do Sodre.

The location was excellent, the space was mostly as described. The back patio is not a space to hang and was not clean. We did hang some laundry to dry that we hand washed. The place could be improved by adding a screen door at the back of the apartment and a window to open in the front of the flat ...
