Lisheenbawn Farmhouse is nestled in the picturesque village of Farranfore, County Kerry.
Conveniently located on a working farm on a private yet central main road, between the towns of Tralee and Killarney, with easy access to the nearby Kerry Airport, our charming farmhouse offers a tranquil base to explore Wild Atlantic Way, Ring of Kerry, Killarney National Park and many more. Unwind in this well-maintained property and enjoy the rural views of Macgillycuddy’s Reeks. Lisheenbawn Farmhouse Farranfore – Sleeps 6 This property consists of 3 spacious bedrooms and sleeps comfortably 6 people. Property layout – Ground floor: - Large country-style kitchen with dining area sitting 8 people - Bright living room with an open fire and TV (terrestrial channels only) - Utility Room Property layout – First floor: - Bedroom 1: double sleeping 2 - Bedroom 2: double sleeping 2 - Bedroom 3: double sleeping 2 - Family bathroom with freestanding shower, hand basin and WC WIFI provided. Parking available. The enclosed garden with garden furniture and BBQ is available. Towels provided. Highchair is available upon request. Welcome basket (please see the gallery for an example) is provided for all guests. Local Area & Tourist Attractions The area is dotted with farms and fields, and it's a great base for exploring the surrounding Kerry landscape, including the nearby mountains and lakes. The villages close by: Currow or Caisteland have a selection of pubs, restaurants and shops. Things to do in the local area: - Beautiful Kerry beaches: Inch Beach, Dooks Beach, Ventry Beach, Banna Beach - Dingle town and Dingle Peninsula - Killarney National Park (with numerous walking trails) - Killarney Riding Stables - Killarney Golf & Fishing Club - Ring of Kerry scenic drive - Crag Caves - McGillycuddy Reeks Mountain Range: including Ireland's highest Mountain – Carrauntoohil - World-famous Rose of Tralee Festival in August IMPORTANT NOTES1. Heating and Electricity: Utilities are an extra charge at this property and payable on departure to the Owner/Property Manager.
The rate for heating & electricity at this property is €10 per day all year around.
Should utility charges not be paid on departure, they will be deducted from the security deposit without further notice.
Breakdown of these charges are available from the Owner/Property Manager. 2. Security Deposit: A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner.
This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival.
In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

A big thank you for the warm welcome the tea, the cake... We had a wonderful time in Ireland thanks to you and we had everything we needed. Coming home after our long walks, back to your lovely farmhouse was such a warm and comfortable feeling ! Take care of yourself and god bless you for your kindness.
