Two seasons, two holidays, at Stones Throw Cottage you can enjoy two completely different holidays in one location. In summer, wake to bright skies, enjoy a morning swim in the calm blue sea, and spend your days on the wide sandy beach before dining al fresco or exploring the vibrant town.
In winter, experience the drama of windswept cliff-top walks, crashing waves against the promenade, stormy skies, and cosy nights inside while the sea spray hits the windows.
Both seasons are unforgettable, offering two unique holidays in the very same place. Completely renovated in 2022, this charming fisherman’s cottage blends modern comfort with traditional character.
It features a spacious kitchen/dining area, a cosy living room with comfortable seating, and a snug attic room, perfect for reading, relaxing, or simply listening to the waves.
The real highlight is the uninterrupted sea view.
From the terrace, watch the sun rise and set over the water or step outside and in under a minute be swimming in the North Sea. Return for a hot shower and a warm drink, then enjoy breakfast on the terrace as the waves sparkle in the morning sun. In the evening, relax with a glass of wine and stargaze in tranquillity, far from city lights. Sheringham is a much-loved seaside town with award-winning beaches, a new leisure centre and pool, cliff-top golf, and woodland walks.
