Spacious 97 sqm apartment on the second floor of a period building without elevator.
Located in Palermo's historic centre, this is an excellent solution for large families or big groups of friends (up to 7 guests)! NATIONAL CODE: IT082053C2STN4AVAO REGIONAL CODE: 19082053C245557 The apartment is located within the restricted-traffic area of the city centre, but there is free parking available on the apartment street. Paid parking: Porto Central Parking (3 minutes on foot). The inside is organized as follows: - LIVING/DINING AREA: entrance room with a dining table and a settee bench; - KITCHEN: equipped with cutlery, pots, hob, fridge, oven, microwave, kitchenware, and an Italian Moka pot; - BEDROOM 1: with a french bed and a wardrobe + balcony; - BEDROOM 2: with a french bed and a wardrobe + balcony; - BEDROOM 3: with a french bed and a wardrobe + balcony; - BEDROOM 4: with two single beds and a wardrobe; - BATHROOM: shower, bidet and WC; Bath towels and bed linen available for all guests. FURTHER SERVICES: free unlimited WI-FI, electric heaters, A/C split with heat pumps (one in each bedroom), washing machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, clothes horse, baby cot and high chair. PLEASE NOTE: There may be some noise during the day, due to the works for the installation of the lift. The apartment is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants. To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal. We need such procedure to verify your ids and docs and in order to send info to the police service "Alloggiati Web" which is Italian procedure to host guest in italy. You can find all the information on the official website alloggiatiweb.poliziadistato Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383). Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings. Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard. Palermo Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd. For all late check-ins from 21:30 to 01:30, we require an extra charge to be paid cash upon check-in as per the following: EUR 15 between 21:30 and 23:00 EUR 20 between 23:00 and 00:00 EUR 30 between 00:00 and 01:30 Late check-ins are not available after 01:30. The tourist tax has to be paid in cash upon check-in. The apartment is located in the city center, in a quiet and well served neighborhood.
The property is within walking distance from Politeama and Teatro Massimo and the main streets of Palermo city center: Via Roma, Via Ruggiero Settimo, Via Libertà, and Via Maqueda (true heart of shopping and nightlife). The very central position allows you to reach easily on foot all the points of interest in the city. The area is quiet, served by public transport, a bike rental station (Bicipa) and various shops such as supermarkets, bakeries, bars, pharmacies, tobacconists and pubs. Main attractions: - Via Ruggerio Settimo: 5 minutes on foot; - Massimo Vittorio Emanuele Theater: 8 minutes on foot; - Church of Martorana and San Cataldo: 15 minutes on foot; - Fontana Pretoria: 15 minutes on foot; - Palermo Cathedral: 20 minutes on foot; - Palatine Chapel and Norman Palace: 20 minutes by public transport; - Mondello Beach: 20 minutes by car / 50 minutes by public transport. - Max Supermercati (supermarkets): 1 minute on foot; - Bar Oasi: 1 minute on foot; - Pizzeria Tondo: 2 minutes on foot. It is easily reachable by public transport, since it is part of the free shuttle "Free Centro Storico" (frequency every 11 minutes) which connects it not only to the Central Station, but also to the Port of Palermo. - From Palermo airport, it is possible to reach the apartment with the Prestia and Comandè bus lines that arrive at the Central Station.
Alternatively, it is possible to take the regional train, always up to the Central Station. *Airport shuttle service from/to Palermo Airport available upon request* We can book the service up to 7 hours before the scheduled arrival. - From Palermo Central Station, it is possible to reach the apartment on foot in about 20 minutes.
Alternatively, you can take advantage of the free shuttle or bus n. 101, 102 or 124 to "Roma Stabile" stop, a 2-minute walk from the property. - For those traveling by car, the Restricted-Traffic Area (ZTL) is active from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00. It is possible to move freely on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
If you want to enter the ZTL, you can possibly purchase a day pass at a cost of € 5 at the tobacconists in the city. Free parking under the house and along the street.

We liked the location, it was near the historical city center and the building was neat and good. The A/c were functioning and it was important for the very hot weather there.
I was disappointed while using the gas stove, it was slow and didn't work properly, but the microwave and the oven were good and used instead.

The place was very nice and in a great location, with everything nearby and easy to access. The only issue was the bathroom, which had a persistent unpleasant smell. I hope this can be fixed, because everything else was great. Thank you for your warm welcome and hospitality!

Appartement vieillot, une seule douche avec WC inclu pour un logement pouvant accueillir 12 personnes, ce nest pas gérable. Manque de vaisselle, ascenseur en panne. Par contre hôte réactif et sympathique.
