Lucignano and the ancient peasant traditions of Tuscany. Casa Clementina is a newly-built country house situated in the very small village of Santa Maria, just outside the characteristic town of Lucignano. Lucignano has really ancient origins, dated back to the Etruscan age and it is certainly worth to visit to admire its particular, elliptic shape and still intact circle of walls. Nowadays the town is a quiet, country place which still preserves the old, peasant Tuscan traditions and is endowed with restaurants, cafès and small grocery shops. The house position is ideal to tour Tuscany and its main art cities, such as Arezzo (30 km), Siena (40 km), Firenze (90 km) and Perugia (70 km).
Ideal place for a relaxing vacation. Casa Clementina has its own garden completely fenced, a beautiful swimming pool (size m. 10x4, depth m. 1,20-1,60 - open from 01st May to 30th September), a barbecue and a large porch next to the kitchen, equipped with table and chairs to eat outside and relax in summer nights. Furnishing is nice and cozy and offers a good level of comfort. GROUND FLOOR: entrance on a wide living-dining room with kitchen corner, sofas and French window overlooking the porch, equipped with table and chairs to eat outside, study room with double sofa bed, bathroom with shower and laundry room. FIRST FLOOR: reachable through internal staircase, double bedroom with private small balcony equipped with breakfast table and chairs, double bedroom and twin bedroom with common balcony equipped with breakfast table and chairs, bathroom with bathtub, bathroom with shower. ATTIC: reachable through internal staircase, double bedroom and twin bedroom with common balcony equipped with breakfast table and chairs, bathroom with bath. EQUIPMENT: - Fridge with freezer, oven, dishwasher, moka coffee maker, toaster, kettle, barbecue, microwave - Wi-Fi Internet access, TV - Washing machine, fans (3), iron and ironing board INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: Private pool open from 01/05 to 30/09. Bed linen and bathroom towels (Initial set). One baby bed (for children up to 3 years) on request at time of booking. Swimming pool and garden maintenance. Pets are not allowed. NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: Breakage deposit Euro 300 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs. Obligatory final cleaning Euro 180. Heating Euro 2 per m3 (if used). Tourist Tax Euro 1,50 per person per day, applied for the first 7 days only, children up to 12 years do not pay. It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.

Très jolie maison familiale, pratique et bien conçue. Elle est au cœur de la Toscane ce qui permet de jolies visites.

A brilliant holiday home in a great location. We travelled as two families and there was plenty of room to all have our own space; we especially loved the bedroom balconies for sitting and relaxing in the morning.
Pool was a great size for the younger members of the party and the house was so well-equipped. Highly recommend!
