Walking distance to Castiglion Fiorentino. Villa degli Olivi is a beautiful holiday villa with attractive architectural features situated just outside Castiglion Fiorentino, a typical Tuscan town on the hills of the Valdichiana, surrounded by age-old olive groves and ancient cypress trees.
The origins of the town date back in history. It certainly already existed before the Etruscan period, though it was in the late Middle Ages that it underwent a period of great expansion in urbanistic terms, to reach the present-day layout of the town. Today it's a busy but tranquil town which offers its visitors numerous cultural events planned throughout the year, town festivals and folkloristic shows as well as the many historic and artistic treasures of considerable value.
A prestigious villa. The villa is situated on the slopes of a hill looking onto the Valdichiana below and is certainly the ideal spot for anyone wanting to spend their holiday in a suggestive country villa, without sacrificing any of the comforts of modern life. The internal fittings, equipment and furnishings of the house are of an high standard and ensure the maximum comfort.
The park immersed amidst olive trees, the swimming pool, the tennis court. Around the villa is an extensive park of age-old olive trees, fenced in and equipped with gazebo, garden furniture, barbecue, wood-burning oven, shaded car spot and an attractive infinity swimming pool (size 6 x 12 m. - depth 1,20-3,00 m - open from 01st May to 30th September). Approx. 2 kilometers far from the house there is a private tennis court to be shared only with the clients of the house COLLINA DEI FIORI and CASALE IL CANAIOLO belonging to the same owner. This villa is 100% pet friendly. GROUND FLOOR: access from the patio equipped for eating in the open and composed of a large sitting room with fireplace and kitchenette, bathroom with shower, laundry room with bathroom with shower and washing machine. FIRST FLOOR: can be reached both from the outside or inside staircase and is composed of sitting room with sofas giving onto a panoramic balcony, 2 double bedrooms, twin bedroom, bathroom with shower, bathroom with hydro-massage bath. ATTIC: four double bedrooms of which one with en-suite bathroom with shower, bathroom with shower and bathroom with bath. All the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. EQUIPMENT: - Oven, freezer, dish-washer, high chair, lemon squeezer, moka coffee maker, mixer, filter coffee maker, kettle, microwave, toaster - Satellite Tv, DVD player, Wi-Fi Internet access, hairdryer - Washing machine, iron and iron board, hoover, air conditioning in all bedrooms - Table tennis, shaded car park INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: Private pool open from 01/05 to 30/09. Wood for fireplace. Bed linen and bathroom towels (initial set). Swimming pool and garden maintenance. One baby bed and high chair (for children up to 3 years) on request at time of booking. NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: Breakage deposit Euro 400 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs. Heating Euro 8 per hour (if used). Air conditioning Euro 1 per Kwh (if used). Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 10 each per day and includes also a kennel, bowls for water and food and a pet toy. Swimming towels on request Euro 4 each. Tourist Tax Euro 2 per person per day, applied for the first 7 days only, children up to 14 years do not pay. It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.
