Information about the host
The Palais-Volkach is the former wine merchant palace of the Meissner family and was built in 1730 in the style of the Würzburg court master Joseph Greissing.
It is located directly in the old town in a central location and in the immediate vicinity of various shops, restaurants and wine shops.
On the ground floor of the palace is our antique and handicraft shop. The apartment is located on the 1st & 2nd floor.
Volkach is located in the heart of the Franconian wine country on the Mainschleife, which offers a variety of opportunities for activities and activities.
Würzburg with the World Heritage Site of the "Residenz" is 25 km away, the World Heritage City of Bamberg 60 km.

Our apartment in the rooms of the former wine merchant Palais Meissner, lets you experience the Baroque ambience of prince-bishop's time, combined with modern comfort. You will enjoy a spacious apartment of 150 sqm with dining room & living room, kitchen and toilet on the 1st floor and two bedrooms with superior box-spring beds and a spacious bathroom on the 2nd floor.
The apartment is equipped with high quality antique furniture from our antiques shop.
Particularly noteworthy are the fine stucco ceilings in the dining room and salon, as well as the intarsia floor and panel parquet in these rooms.
Conditions/extras
The prices include W-LAN, bed linen, towels & final cleaning. The minimum stay is 3 days. From 7 days you will receive a weekly discount.
