Information about the host Welcome to the climatic health resort Schönau am Königssee.
Our vacation apartment in the Alpine National Park is located in a quiet yet central location at the foot of the Grünstein, the forerunner of the Watzmann.
Enjoy the view of the world famous Watzmann and the Berchtesgaden mountains.
Only about five minutes walk from our house is a bus stop and local restaurants, the center of Schönau am Königssee with the tourist information and shopping facilities can be reached in just ten minutes walk.
Also the Königssee with the famous Echo and the pilgrimage church St.
Bartholomä as well as the Jenner are only about five minutes drive from your accommodation.
In addition, our house is perfect as a starting point for your hikes.

Take the Bad Reichenhall exit.
This is the last exit before the Austrian border. (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) From Bad Reichenhall on the B20 follow the signs towards Berchtesgaden.You will pass through the towns of Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallthurm and Bischofswiesen and finally come to the large traffic circle at the Berchtesgaden train station.From there take the exit towards Königssee on the B20, at the end of the town turn right down Untersteinerstraße.
You are now in the municipal area of Schönau am Königssee.
Drive past the church.Then turn right up into Waldhauserstraße.Drive about 700m. and then turn left into Zulehenweg.
Continue driving for about 100m.
