The location is the best solution to visit the city while staying away from the historic center chaos, it is in fact possible to reach Ponte Vecchio by public transportation or, alternatively, in less than 10 minutes by car (you can buy your Restricted Traffic Area ticket at the city center garages ) and then move comfortably on foot.
