This property offers views of Carmarthen Bay in the distance and is nestled on the owner’s smallholding on the hillside overlooking Broughton beach and countryside, including Llangennith Burrows. Brynymor Cottage is perfectly situated to discover the whole of the Gower Peninsula, Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is ideal for walking, surfing and fishing all locally.
Semi-detached, Brynymor Cottage has been thoughtfully furnished throughout by the adjacent owners and offers upside-down living designed to take advantage of the enviable views. It has a spacious galley-style kitchen on the ground floor and for formal dining, you can enjoy the separate dining room. In the first floor living room you can relax in the evening and watch the glorious sunset through the A-frame glass windows. The cottage has its own patio with garden furniture, summerhouse and private lawn area. There is an unfenced stream and unfenced fish pond, which require children to be supervised. In the morning take a stroll along award-winning Llangennith Beach which is known for its surfing, and uncover the delights of Rhossili, 1½ miles away, which is the most western point of the Gower. You can enjoy coastal walks around the cliff tops, coves and bays, as well as hillside walks around the peninsula. Worms Head is within view from the front gardens and can be accessed if out exploring at low tide. Here you can visit the wreck of Helvetia which ran aground in the bay in 1887. After your busy morning sightseeing, don’t forget to enjoy a freshly cooked lunch in the 17th-century inn within the hamlet of Llangennith. Travelling further south you can uncover Port Eynon, Oxwich and, of course, The Mumbles where you can visit the lifeboat station, pier and enjoy the views from the promenade. Swansea itself offers a wide variety of shopping, marina, theatres, market, many restaurants and cafés, and bustling nightlife. Locally there is pony trekking, archery, golf, surfing (with surf school on the beach) and water sports. Beach 800 yards. Shop 5 miles and pub/restaurant 800 yards.
